Kiki (photo)

Originally a programmer, Kiki moved into computer graphics as an undergrad at UNC-Chapel Hill building architectural models for the head mounted display research team. From there, she built 3D computer models and did lighting for Pixar Animation Studios. Personally, she builds her own sculptures in a vast array of mediums, focusing primarily in metal, and incorporating elements of illumination - neon, electroluminescent wire, fiber optic, and fire. She is best known for the Firefall, a water fountain on fire, and is currently founding a neon club, a shared neon bending facility for artists.
